As a frequent traveller. There are opertunitunities for toilets at

Caernarfon
Porthmadog
Oakley Arms
Machynlleth

The toilets in Doll is too far from the bus if the time is short

The services normally have a 5 minutes stop

I've had no problems with the drivers. However I've had a good relationship with the drivers

I similarly found the drivers obliging a few months ago, and I was "unknown" to them!!

Indeed, returning on the 1540 ex Aber, and being the only passenger travelling beyond Dolgellau, where there is a 35-minute break, I was reluctantly asked by the driver to leave the vehicle, as it was his statutory break. I didn't mind, as it was a welcome opportunity to stretch my legs, and after he'd locked the coach we both retired to the Royal Ship Inn to enjoy the facilities! [He had a coffee, I should add!]

[Indeed - if the OP would indulge me to de-rail this thread a little - The most convenient convenience I've discovered on the TrawsCymru network, is at Llanuwchllyn on the T3 Wrexham-Barmouth service. The coach diverts off the A494 into the village, and then turns and retraces its route back through the village to the main road. The village toilets are situated at the penultimate stop before the coach turns round. On one occasion, I witnessed someone alight, leaving luggage on the vehicle, and enter the facilities. We proceeded to the terminus, and as we began the return trek, that person was crossing the road with a contented look on his face, ready to re-board the coach!! It was timed to perfection - not a moment's delay!].
