I can't wait to laugh when the new operator does no better.
My thoughts exactly. Don't get me wrong, SWT aren't perfect but as many have already said on this thread, my experiences on SWT are much better than GWR.

I kept getting this the last few minutes on rail forums. Looks like there's a lot of members online (?)

RTT has updated its master tables, the 0142 is now showing as a SWR service.
I'm sure there's probably an 'anti' page somewhere for most TOCs. There certainly was for FGW, and they weren't the worst! I'd imagine one for Southern or Thameslink would be an amusing read.
The problem of course is that this is invariably the 'commuter perspective'. Those who travel daily with one TOC but scarcely with any others. They get to learn every little wrongdoing and annoyance of their 'home TOC' down to the minute detail, and rarely notice when things are going smoothly. This doesn't give a very rounded view of the network as a whole, and lacks perspective. I'd imagine if you put the SWT complainers on Thameslink every day for a month or two they'd be more than happy to come back!
That's probably got to do something with how the RTT database is designed, where there's a master reference table for all TOCs which is linked to from the individual services.Doesn't make sense because now any South West Trains service in the past (for example, one week ago) shows SWR service instead of SWT.

I spent four hours with 450072 tonight on the Netley line, appropriate messages on the CIS at Portsmouth Harbour and a couple of other places.
The handover team arrived at Portsmouth Harbour around 2215 to start removing SWT signage.
It's just got it's path cleared
