Sounds like a good day was had!

Sainsbury's at Euston have moved the bacon sandwiches to the next fridge along for some reason so if you don't see them with the other sarnies then they may be further on.

With regards the pedometer app, if you have Android then use the Google Fit app as it will automagically keep track without having to turn it on and doesn't drain the battery. But well done on getting the foot mileage in ;) It's not always about rail miles :p

Also, salt in food isn't such a bad thing, it's the sugar (carbs) you need to watch out for.

Thanks for the tip there on the app, I'll have a look after I charge my phone. I like the one I have as it's beyond easy to use, doesn't faff around with stats I don't csre about and so on. I've tweeted a screengrab if you're interested in what it looks like.

Thanks as well for the tip on the bacon sandwiches, I'll bear that in mind for next time :) Good point on the food stats, in terms of carbs I think it was actually quite reasonable. Fair whack of protein, not always a bad thing. Considering I'd had a toasted muffin, 3 chocolate digestives, that sandwich and the 2 pack of mini pork pies all day yesterday I think I did exceptionally to not eat more than that!

I'm aware there's other comments but I'm almost out of charge (4%) in the phone. So I'll read and reply to everyone else tomorrow.

Glad you enjoyed the read!

The cost price of the coffee is indeed significant for your friend! In all honesty my meal was actually really good, as was the coffee, so I had no complaints whatsoever. Yes there is a significant difference between cost price and retail price, but no business would survive if they sold stuff at cost price and no more! Staffing and rental rates will cost a fair whack, especially in Central London!

I'll definitely check out Google Fit at some point, but my app (Walkroid for anyone curious) measured the distance exactly at what Google Maps provides for the walk from home to both of my local bus stops (depending on what time I leave the house depends which one I use) which I checked both yesterday and today. I'll have the same app in use today to see what I manage on my longest shift of the week, it does vary depending on what I do at work. Helping a certain department means a lot of walking, another very little whatsoever and my own bit it varies on too. Aiming to clear a bare minimum of 5 miles today for the whole day anyway.

In two days of not using the app quite enough I cleared 9.32 miles (none of the walking around Euston itself or in Birmingham saw the app in use) which is not bad going, not when you consider I had a relatively easy day yesterday! 0.3 miles so far today, so it's game on!

The thing with google fit it it also uses its own map data but because its not tryong to sink with another app your power drain isnt an issue and you dont have to stop and start it, its always running.

I don't get this "how many steps" or "how many miles per day" walking fad.
But then I'm a nerdy number cruncher of trains........each to their own. :D

If that is all I was doing then I'd understand your viewpoint happily. Most people froth about the number of steps, but for me it's all about the mileage. What a lot of people don't seem to have worked out is it's not just the distance that matters, it's got to be at a reasonable enough pace for an increase in heart rate to make a difference. Walking, for example, a mile in an hour is not going to be as beneficial as walking the same distance in 15 minutes. For me it's all down to being more than curious with how far I travel in a day, not to mention any health benefits that come with it all.

7.3 miles yesterday all in, 16.7 miles over 3 days. It's rest day today so I don't intend to go on a mission with it.

Anyway, enough of that for now. I've got nothing planned for August apart from the next instalment of Tech's World Frenzy on 14th to 17th August. Once I land back in England, I *might* switch titles as I've then got a red pen fest in London <D

About time I caught up with this!

Just read the excellent Tackley report. I still remember the time we did the final Paddington - Worcester via Swindon services, and got bowled by a 180 vice HST!

Looking forward to doing these shacks myself...not!

A good read as usual Tech, plenty winners all round there mate. Clearing a couple of classes too, I'm currently stuck on 7 GB sheds, have been since I collated 66756 and 66771 on the trip to the SVR Gala.

Oh dear, to singing reach for the stars, who on karaoke. Norm lands falling to pieces but no doubt done with a bit of a laugh. I'm a fine one to talk, having done the full Monty on one rather drunken night out with colleagues from where I used to work. It took some getting over, for them especially:oops:

Cheers LSG, I know that feeling as I had the same problem for years with my final Freightliner 66. 66953 took some finding, but I suspect it will take even longer with the Final Five as I've decided to call them. Why do I predict some trips to revolve around Peterborough in the next year? Well, aside from GN 365s and shacks I'm always told Peterborough's the best place to find GBRf 66s.

Oh I didn't actually sing that song on karaoke, although I did do worse. I was singing along to my two norm mates singing Reach mind, which is bad enough. I know you want to know what I went for, and it was Queen's We Are The Champions (paired up with a norm mate, but which one I'm not sure now!) and, in terms of NormLand it was a good choice but otherwise not, a duet with a norm mate (again, not sure which one...) Summer Lovin' from Grease. I still haven't watched the video one of the group posted on Facebook, but I know I cringed watching the one I took of Reach when it picked up my own singing  May God have mercy on me when I do watch it later...I still enjoy the majority of memories from that evening though, and we're doing a repeat of the evening in September and again in December. We may have killed karaoke in Hereford that night, but at least I had the round objects to get up there and do it unlike my other male norm mates!

The Full Monty is an interesting choice, and my imagination of it with a Geordie accent has me smiling :lol::lol:

Meanwhile, back on Planet Tech, I've got the second instalment of Tech's World Frenzy in just 10 days time. This time it's off to Prague and my first venture into Eastern Europe. Some will define it as part of Central Europe, but it's either Western or Eastern Europe for me in terms of definitions. It doesn't get me a country off my bucket list (my trip report will list those), but it will be a new experience. It also sees the return of using a hashtag on Twitter and a Live Trip Report. While I'm not expecting many tweets, they'll be there. As promised back in March on my Norwegian adventure, I'll be using the same hashtag for all world exploration trips, #TechsWorldFrenzy and this trip is from Monday 14th August to Thursday 17th August.

On my way back from Prague, I've got an afternoon/evening in London on 17th August followed by, at minimum, a morning there on 18th August. As I'll be back from my latest world exploration by then, I'll be changing my trip title and ceasing use of the hashtag for the duration, once I get into Central London on 17th August. I have yet to decide what I'll use, however it will be discovered by the time I post the trip report. Quite, the brain's suddenly going into major TPP Mode and is considering options. I'll announce details when I've got them figured out...

Very much looking forward to the World Frenzy!

A super productive time had in London for sure - congrats on the W&C and your ever dwindling requirements!

Agreed about the steps thing - last year I was walking 12 miles a day and still gaining weight, thanks to none of the walks being brisk enough to get the heart going, and eating Taco Bell...

I trust you'll be following the hashtag then!

Glad you enjoyed the read, the next trip report will be a monster of a read. Whether Day 1 will go live at the end of Monday or not depends on whether I have a decent signal/WiFi in the hotel. If not it may be a massive amount on here in one go next Thursday. Indeed, I may post the first part up to the airport before I leave these shores. I'm not spending much time on British soil when I return either...<D

11/08/2017 - Post-dentistry mini-bash

As I've done trip reports for my post-work mini-bashes before, here comes one that was unexpected today! I had been to the dentist for some dental work, less major than expected thankfully, and after some time spent recovering from an appointment which saw me spend around 50 minutes in the chair, I ended up at the station to await the next bus home.

When I realised it was the horribly uncomfortable piece of junk I have on my commutes most days, I flagged it in favour of seeing what was due in from London. I spent most of the fester chatting to Blindtraveller, and in rolled a pleasant surprise, a winner 166! A coffee move from Pumpkin was, of course, made and I had the unexpected surprise of seeing the NMT at Hereford too, something I've not previously had the pleasure of seeing on my local turf. Winner 166210 was taken on what turned out to be a very bumpy ride over to Great Malvern, sitting right over the bogie in the declassified First Class section didn't help mind. Never known my local route being so rough before!

By gum didn't that 166 make a racket out of Great Malvern, phwoar! I visited Lady Foley's Tea Room on the Worcester-bound platform for an instant coffee at £1.50, they take cards but under £5 they charge an extra 50p, thankfully I had cash on me. I could have jumped onto a train straight back to Hereford, but Droner mileage with 170511 was not a nice thought. Instead I got 43160+43041 back, as it would connect into the same bus home anyway.

As for the coffee, it wasn't enjoyable to be honest so I wouldn't recommend it. It was then onto the bus home to rest ahead of a predicted busy day at work before my holiday kicked in.

14/08/2017 - And Now...The Continuation Of...Tech's World Frenzy, 14th-19th August 2017, Day 1

As promised on my previous World Frenzy trip report from Norway way back in March 2017, I'm continuing the use of my Tech's World Frenzy trip title for all world exploration trips, and yes that includes the use of the hashtag and Live Trip Report! The trip title is a nod to Hell's Kitchen's narrator:

And now, the continuation, of Tech's World Frenzy...

This time I was off to Prague, my first visit to Central Europe. This is a new definition for me, having recently reviewed my atlas and finding Czech Republic to be far less east than expected. Now the likes of Macedonia, that's Eastern Europe! The same review confirmed my lack of desire to go that far east, there's too much of a feel of Russia to that lot. My bucket list contains the desire to conquer Western Europe, but I've heard good things about Prague and some months ago I got a good deal via Travel Republic, flights and 3 nights in a hotel for £213. Compared to my other options of Spain or Italy, this was well within budget! For the record, the list of countries on my bucket list within Europe are Spain, Italy, Denmark and Switzerland. Finland is also required, but falls outside my desired countries list. Elsewhere in the world, the rest of the Bucket List has me wanting Japan, Australia, New Zealand and more of the USA. Canada isn't on the list but is an honourable mention, the rest of the world doesn't interest me. I started typing this report up 2 weeks in advance, that keen I was to get going! I was flying from Manchester, on a winner airline in the form of Jet2, so the first leg of the journey would fall to ATW. I couldn't get a decent price Advance to the airport, so had booked an Advance to Wilmslow, leaving the final part to the airport to purchase on the day.

Unsurprisingly, the night before the trip I was excited [quite, I was 75% packed on 6th August! - Ed] and wanted to get going! I was booked on the 1108 from Hereford to Wilmslow, so I had plenty of time to source breakfast and do final preparations as I was awake early as per usual. After some really challenging days at work [when is it ever anything but tough?! - Ed] this trip needed to be awesome to revitalise the spirits! I got a lift to town, and after multiple roadworks en-route I only had a few minutes before joining 175011 for a very busy ride to Wilmslow.

On my day off on 4th August I had a crazy idea pop into my head. "Could I get another country scored after I come back from Prague?" was the thought, although where it came from I'm not sure. After a lot of looking around, I turned down the cheaper options as they didn't look much cop with the hotels, BA came through with a fantastic deal. £217 later, my Emergency Funds were drained bar £3, but I was going to also score Italy! Now if someone had told me in January I'd get 3 required countries scored in 2017 I would not have believed them! The word on the street was that I'd be after another one in October on my week off, although that's just a rumour. Or is it...How much truth will there be in it? Stay tuned to this thread as the summer goes on, maybe it'll be in January 2018 to kick the new year off in a different manner...

Enough with the suspense, that can be dealt with after this trip is over. The advantage of starting these trip reports days in advance is that I can play about with it and add/remove stuff during my commutes. It tends to be when I rush the typing up that I make mistakes, as I'm sure you've all noticed many a time. Anyway...For the journey north it was time for Tech's Mobile Disco, on this occasion a mix of cheesy tunes and Nightcore on my first 175 in quite a while. Of course, as I was going to be boarding a flight, there had to be the traditional pre-flight music playing during the journey. Let's Fly by Styles & Breeze with DJ Jean's The Launch also mandatory.

Thankfully the 1234 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly via Manchester Airport was held at Crewe and running 5 down as a result of the 175 being 6 down. Single to the airport bought and I joined Super Dud 323229 for some Starship action to Manchester Airport. Once the lift to the concourse finally accepted we all wanted to go up it was onwards and upwards to the walkway to Terminal 1, and I took a break to soak up the airport atmosphere while catching up on Twitter.

After a while, I got moving to the Jet2 bag drop desks. That was super quick, less than 5 minutes, but security queues were enormous. Never ever have I spent more than 10 minutes queuing anywhere for security, not even at New York JFK, one of the world's most major airports! 35 minutes queuing behind hen parties and families was not fun, but no issue otherwise, but I dread to think what queues were like for other airlines, bearing in mind this lot was just for Jet2 flights! I was more than glad to get out of there, eventually working my way past the many fragrance shops. I was very hungry now, as it was well gone 1400 and I had had a light breakfast around 0720, so about 7 hours previous. Burger King was my saviour here, even if it took 20 minutes to get served! That meal didn't take long to get devoured, and as I was on holiday there was now only one thing on my mind...

Beer! I found The Grain Loft upstairs which does real ale, a nice pleasant surprise. The lass who served me was really friendly, going down in history as the nicest barmaid I've ever seen and could teach much of the UK retail world how to do customer service! The first half was sadly dud, my fault for not checking, but the second was indeed a winner. 924 unique brews now, for anyone interested, so The Magical Thou is not far away! I found a spot to do some plane spotting which was welcome, and after my gate was called I did some more. A few duds but 15 scores including my plane, so not bad at all. Eventually I'm on the plane, winner for everything G-GDFW and I'm impressed by how lovely and friendly all the Jet2 crew were. The red and grey interior works well on this Boeing 737-800, my favourite aircraft type, and I loved the idea of the cupholders which I haven't seen before. I can see me choosing to fly with Jet2 again on my next world exploration trip!

Pushback was at 1621, 1 down, and 11 minutes later we're up in the air. I'm also loving the legroom on this craft, seat 4A for the record. Yes I was impressed by Jet2 that's for sure. I know I'm not a fan of Frothbucks, but a Starbucks Via coffee was sourced for £2.70 as it was now around 1700 and I'd been awake the best part of 12 hours by now. The weather above the clouds was gorgeous, and by 1710 we were approaching mainland Europe. Foolishly I had left my pens in my hold luggage, so the marking off of my new sights and the update of my commuting log would have to wait, and Tech's Mobile Disco came out at 37,000 feet. By now of course I was looking forward to landing and exploring Prague, and 1750 landing procedures were beginning. Touchdown was at 1913, and arrival at the terminal at 1917, 8 up (now on local time, GMT+1). Baggage reclaim cleared by 1937, 72 hour ticket for 310CZK and luggage ticket for 16CZK, I joined bus 6907 on route 119 to Nadrazi Veleslavin. It was then downstairs to the Metro, validating my ticket again just to make 100% sure I got it right.

Wow these Metro trains on line A are hellfire! Winners for everything 3190+3235+3259+3267+3199 took me on Metro line A to the western end of the line at winner shack Nemocnice Motol, and after changing platforms they returned to take me along line A to winner shack Mustek. I got a bit lost, so Google Maps saved me to find winner tram shack Vaclavske namesti.

Tea was sourced with a big slice of pepperoni pizza for 40CZK. Current exchange rates have 1GBP equalling roughly 27CZK, so for around £1.50 I had some very nice food from the pizza place next to the tram stop. Double winners for everything 8498+8499 took me along tram line 9 to winner tram shack Biskupcova. From there it was a short walk to base camp for 3 nights, Vitkov Hotel. It's actually a nice place, and I'm glad I chose it. Huge room, big double bed (about the same comfort as in Ibis Budget), decent size bathroom, mini safe, small fridge to put stuff in, plenty of space to hang clothes and excellent free WiFi.

While struggling to sleep from excitement, I discovered my Western European trams book doesn't cover Prague. It does cover Scandanavia, but not the Czech Republic, not good! My Metro Systems of Europe book did cover Prague thankfully, there's a lot of those Skoda units I tried out so it'll be a big job for the notebook and pen!

Thanks lads!

Cowley, sunny and hot with the occasional mild breeze and the odd cloud here and there. Hit a high of around 31 degrees earlier, luckily I seem to have no sunburn! Due a thunderstorm or two tomorrow!

I will warn now that I have yet to confirm my reported winners are actually winners, you should see the list of trams I have to check off for sight, hundreds of notes made! No doubt some have repeated at least once, but I'll find out eventually!

15/08/2017 - And Now...The Continuation Of...Tech's World Frenzy, Day 2

0148 and I started typing up Day 2. What on Earth would I find to do at this time of day, I hear you ask. Well as sleep was avoiding me, and I believe that is more down to being hungry and having an uncomfortable bed than anything else, I had discovered tram routes 95 and 98 running through the night. What better way to fill time until the body would let me sleep? Well I'd have rather found some food, but this would do just fine. The lack of proper curtains, the net curtains used in my room [number 218 for the record - Ed] didn't help keep the light out which was frustrating. While I was initially pleased with my choice of hotel, I suddenly wasn't and all other attempts to get me to sleep had failed. This sort of thing happened on a mini London bash quite some time ago, so I had ended up on a Night Tube bash. The difference being I found food on that run eventually, would I this time? Read on to find out...

The 95 and 98 run on the same track as the 9 in this part of Prague towards the city centre. So first up was winner for everything 8361 on route 95 all the way to the end! It took a while to trace the route it takes, but after Lazarska it followed tram line 6 to Kubanske Namesti, then tram line 7 as far as Cernokostelecka and finally line 5 to the end of the line at Ustredni Dilny DP! At night, tram services are numbered 91 to 98, but don't ask me what covers what as the 95 took long enough to follow! Oh, and I discovered a night tram map on board after following it, d'oh! This tram, unlike the trams earlier, had plastic seats but was surprisingly comfortable. After a 49 minute journey it was onto winner for everything 8369 back into town, and by now I was certainly tired, having been awake for around 19 hours by now!

Lazarska is a bit of an interchange between Night Trams, and the drivers also take breaks here for a few minutes. Possibly worth noting...Pizza Da Pjetro got revisited for a slice of pizza for 40CZK, and a big hotdog was also sourced from nearby Vaclavskt Gril too for 70CZK. 110CZK [approximately £4.07 - Ed] well spent to feed an angry stomach! Winner for everything 8625 was next on Night Tram 98, which branches off at Olsanske namesti to Flora, then follows tram line 10 to Biskupcova and onto line 9 to winner shack Spojovaci, the end of the line. Ah stuff it, I might as well cover it before going to bed! Double winners for everything 8722+8720 turned up on the first run of the day at 0423 on line 11, which I took to winner shack Ohrada and back to base camp. I have to admit surprise at how well used the Night Trams all were!

At 0700 my alarm went off and I had had about 2.25 hours of heavy sleep. It was a gorgeous day, and as the forecast for Day 3 of my trip was looking slightly less promising I got up to get going. The coat could stay in the room, just as well as it was roasting already! Double winners for everything 8169+8170 produced on line 10 and I took them all the way from Biskupcova to winner shack Sidliste Repy. The amount of trams I was writing down was getting insane, and after a leg stretch at the terminus I ended up on line 9 as far as winner shack Hlavni nadrazi, so I could see the mainline station. Taking me there was one of the newer trams, winner for everything 9373. These are air-conditioned, have free WiFi, more up to date PIS and have plastic seats. I was amazed to find that they weren't as uncomfortable as I expected them to be!

I found a park here, and sat on the bench to continue the epic notebook update, as I had thankfully remember to put a pen in my pocket before leaving the room. The sheer number of trams noted was incredible, and I didn't note them all! After noting and photting some CD locos, 328 Class for anyone curious, and noting that the Regiojet looks well comfortable, I found a machine that does coffee for 12CZK. OK so it was a very small cup, but it was my first coffee of the day at 0945 and not too bad!

After also having a quick look at the historical building of the mainline station, I ended up choosing to do some Metro bashing on line C. Winner for everything 4121 took me to winner shack Ladvi where it terminated, and for a train built by Siemens they're actually not too bad. Onwards 4 minutes later I had winner for everything 4195 to winner shack and end of the line, Letnany. At least the time underground gave me time to update the trip report, which made it a much less daunting task for the evening!

4195 was soon back from its reversal, and I took it back to Ladvi as I was on a mission to get back on the trams. Not to mention back into the sunshine, and I had other things to attend to! These sets sound a bit like Thunderbird 1 on landing when they come to a stop, you have to sample these to understand the noise as it is very difficult to describe! 8488+8499 were double winners for everything to Sidliste Dablice, the eastern end of line 10 and soon it will be another line cleared, line 9 being the other. Line 17 is closed for engineering works at this end it seems, and route 24 is being diverted here too for the time being. Winner for everything 9150 took me back west to westbound-only winner shack Trebenicka, where I bailed for winner for everything 9061 on route 10 to Biskupcova. The reason for going there was, quite simply, to avoid the ching on railway facilities for a PNB! 9061 is one of the tram type fo have wooden seats, wow I was getting to sample a lot of the different sort Prague had to offer!

After a welcome short break, filling a bottle with water in the process as well as planning moves, I messed up and joined double winners 8542+8543 on route 9 not route 1 as planned! Bailed out at winner shack Olsanska, joining winner 9301 on route 26 all the way to the end at winner shack Nadrazi Hostivar. Double winners 8548+8549 take me back out 11 minutes later on route 22 to winner shack OC Hostivar, as I was in dire need of coffee so visited the shopping centre next door. I think it was Jinty cafe where I got my incredibly enjoyable 300ml coffee from for 55CZK, and it was incredibly hot so took until the city centre to be consumed! Back on the move with that coffee had me scoring 8556+8557 for the long trip to winner shack Prasky hrad, to visit the castle.

The Royal Gardens were most impressive, as was St Vinctus Cathedral on the grounds. The castle itself I was less pleased with, but then it was soon back on the trams, scoring double winners 7234+7235 to end of the line winner shack Kralovka. After waiting for what felt like an age, I joined double winners 7262+7122 for the tiny leap to winner shack Malovanka. A very short wait connected me onto double winners 8157+8158 to the end of the line winner shack Bila Hopa. Taking me back east were double winners 8333+8331 to winner shack Vozovna Stresovice. A wait that felt like an age in the 30+ degree weather produced double winners 9296 to winner shack Sidliste Petriny, the end of the line. 8695+8650 were double winners for the trek to winner shack Hradcanska.

Here I changed onto winner 9306 for the slow journey to winner shack Karlovy lazne. Yes it was finally time to walk Charles Bridge! I stopped off for an expensive but winner beer first, then I did the walk. Yes it's nice to do but it's nothing special. I sourced some winners beers from a mini mart afterwards, then trekked back. I've done it now and while it's sort of mandatory for first time visitors to Prague to do it, I would recommend hours on trams over it! Once back at the other side, I wanted more tram line coverage, so joined winner 9272 from winner shack Staromentska to winner shack Vyton where I was bored of the slow run and wanted to change for line 7. It's discovered it's not serving here, oh well back to the long run south then. I joined winner 9309 to discover it was terminating one stop away at winner shack Podolska vodarna.

Eventually I find my way onto winner 9214 and I took it all the way to winner shack at the technically end of the line Sidliste Modrany. I say technically as the line starts at Levskeho, but there is no terminating platform there so trams terminate at the stop before it. I make the walk just in time to join double winners 8482+8458 for the long run to Staromestska.

By now it had been over a mammoth 14 hours since my last food, so as I knew where I could get food I like I jumped on Metro line A. Winners 3195+3443+3276+3275+3192 took me one stop to Mustek, and I took the right exit this time to come out right by the tram stops at Vaclavske nemesti. I bought a large hot dog and a can of beer, not cheap at 120CZK but thoroughly worth it. I had a walk up Wenceles Square, which reminds you of your typical big city High Street, nothing fancy here. Then I found Vytopna, the world famous railway restaurant. For those unfamiliar, this place serves drinks by model railway! It's worth noting they charge a maintenance fee of 25CZK to enter, in a bid to cover maintenance costs. I scored two beers here, although if I'd realised where this place was I'd have got my food there, but I had forgot to check directions.

After two OK beers costing me 99CZK with the admission fee, and the waiters were unamused I didn't order food, I went to find the Old Town. Another tourist area which is OK but nothing super special. I eventually moved on and re-joined Metro line A at Staromestska, boarding winners 3356+3670+3666+3604+3343 to end of the line winner shack Depo Hostivar. A short walk occured to join tram line 5, and I was rewarded with double winners 8846+8847 to winner shack Solidarita. I then scored one of my beers from earlier, although horribly warm by now it was a score and helped boost my Beerspotting badge on Untappd! I had intended to join line 13 here, but line 7 annoyed me earlier so when the chance came up to score double winners 8446+8495 to get the line cleared I wasn't saying no! However, I later discovered what was going on earlier...

Line 7 is enduring alterations at the moment, and is partly diverted via line 22! Oh well, at least I know for 100% that the Prague tram network will not be cleared on this visit after all. Lots of fiddly curves and such like to do anyway, but I'll still make an effort to clear the outer reaches of the network as it is still good fun! Off I got at winner shack Radlicka, earning another step of my Beerspotting badge towards level 17, and joining winner 8347 to winner shack Andel for an interchange onto Metro. Once downstairs, now having had enough of trams for one day [seriously, the amount I had to check off was insane! - Ed] I was happy to join the hellfire Metro sets. Winners 3132+3239+3237+3217+3118 took me to the end of the line winner shack Zlicin. This was my first run on Metro line B, which uses the same monsters as line A. Jinonica is currently closed for works on the platforms, so there went my plan to clear all Metro shacks!

Still, it has been an enjoyable day in Prague. I had to be careful with money in Day 3 of the trip, as 1,300CZK was already down to 319CZK! I let the same set go back in a bid to score more, and while there was a place that did pizza slices at Zlicin there was none I like going, gutted! Winners 3341+3606+3607+3609+3349 soon rolled in to take me to Mustek, where my stomach would get some more food before retiring after a very long day on the bash. Considering how little sleep I had, combined with hardly any coffee all day, unheard of on a UK bash in the same circumstances, I reckon I did well. I've also decided, in a bid to make doing trip reports easier, not to detail what are winners for everything from now on, simply referring to them as winners. It's also worth noting that I was already looking forward to getting back to my own bed! Alas, that was still 4 days away!

After two slices of pizza, I joined winner 9365 back to base.
