A trip down south would have been nice at this point, however we've just missed the soutbound Grand Central service down to London, so instead we board the 1540 Northern service to Wakefield Westgate, arriving there at 1609 on Tuesday afternoon.

We decide not to head to the capital just yet, as a CrossCountry service for the South West turns up, so we board the 1623 CrossCountry service to Plymouth, arriving at 2146 on Tuesday evening.
