Hi mate sorry to be a bother lol, was this interview harder than the multi modal interview you had at stage 2? Also any tips would be much appreciated thanks again

Hi, I wouldn't say it was harder, they are very similar apart from on this one they want to see if you are serious about the job. They start off by asking what you have done work wise since leaving school, your hobbies etc. Then they want you to tell them what you know about MTR as a corporation e.g. where it all started and what countries they operate in.
After that they want you to tell them about Crossrail, the line of route, what you know about the new trains and most importantly the stages of crossrail. Make sure you know the stages of crossrail off by heart. Then comes some questions like the ones you had on the MMI, if you follow the same format as you did for the MMI you will be fine.
I think that's all of it.

Just got grilled today. I cannot tell how it all went. Quiet relaxed but I just have a negative feeling. Will soon find out.

Hi Termak,

How long was it? did they ask you things that you didn't revise for? if you don't mind me asking.

You've done all you can do, you've gone through all the stages now just waiting for that result, I hope its positive result for you, fingers crossed for you mate.

It was all as mentioned before. Quiet, relaxed but serious business. I tried my best to explain as I was a T/Op for LU before but resigned, then re-joined LU after some years. It can go either way for me. I had most of the info they wanted and when I didn't give enough, they kind of brought in something that got the answers out of me. Oh..and it was close to an hour long.

I just summarised information from their website..all the answers are there. I had three other questions exactly as from MMI.

Yeah I really feel your pain!, I'm sure you done fine - one positive is that the longer wait isn't a sign of bad news (which is what I had my mind set on)

I felt it went well, but who knows, looking back I feel I could of said more, I really want this job, working for MTR would be amazing. i hope they don't keep us in suspense for much longer.

Hi Treadstone, if I can recall correctly I think they stated that MTR assessment (all paper test & computer test plus MMI)passed at MTR enhanced standard last for 5 years but don't quote me on that.
