Hasn't there been a big gass leak in the Gloucester Road area could be effecting access to the depot?

So SGBC's deckers couldn't get to their depot

I wonder how they are managing as this will be the second night deckers presumably can't access the depot from the A38, unless they are allowing them to pass the works?

Came through the area (by car) at about 20:30 tonight. Gypsy Patch is still "no entry" eastbound at the A38.

Westbound, the signs say "road ahead closed" back at the Hatchet Rd roundabout, but actually it isn't - westbound is open. There is only one lane available about half way between the flyover and the bus garage.

So possibly, the road could be operated under stop/go boards for a short while to allow the deckers to get to the depot?

I see that VOSA yesterday and today show a cancellation for the One (from 10/7/17), the 16 (from 1/8/17), and the 505, 511 and 512 (from 3/9/17).

Think only the One is a surprise?

The one going isn't a surprise, it barely carries any passengers. In other matter I was told hengrove will be getting the 16, was a tad surprised as it would make more sense for LH to have it.

The rest is only confirming of what we already knew, hadn't realized the one would be going aswell.

That's a fair few buses worth of work going.....

I think so, along with the 513 and 514!

In Bristol it will be

3's, 51, 90, 506, 513 and 514. A shadow of the former Wessex/SGBC.

To be honest, I don't hold out too much hope for the 90, given that they were forced from the ONE, the ONE2, and the 14 in Bath.

Have to see if the X14 appears in September but could be approaching something of a pivotal moment

not if two electric buses were to move onto the 16 from the 72 ;)

That would render the charging point at UWE Frenchay useless however

Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

And would mean they wouldn't get a full charge at any point during the day.

Thanks. I think they kept 508 as well, plus they have the glory of the SevernNet Flyer.

I wouldn't put money on the X14 reappearing in the autumn.

And the Bicester shuttle and Park & Ride is also operated out of Avonmouth.

So the Citistar blog today mentions that Crosville has "given notice to resign from providing Weston town services 4 and 4A from the start of September 2017".

That leaves them with the 100 and 106...

Also worth noting that whilst the JJP Holdings website makes no mention of this, but does say that Crosville's fleet of heritage buses will be operated by Vintage Road Rail & Steam Ltd in due course, along with 'Elizabeth' and the steam locomotives.

That company is registered By Jonathon Jones Pratt surprisingly enough!

I've not seen a Wessex B7RLE on the 20A/C in Bath before but 30927 BX62FZP worked a 20C from Bath University early this evening.

Crosville have put through cancellations for services 152, 66 and 67 from 23/07/17. It appears they've put through a change for 100 too.

The 66 is a college route and could simply be to do with the end of term. A look on the CMS website shows no TTs for any of those 3 routes though.

66 starts from Axbridge in term time but operates from Huntspill in the holidays and TT is on traveline. 67 and 152 do not appear though

I'm not sure 152 has operated for several years.

66 is on Traveline to operate during school holidays, but this is not shown on Crosville's own timetable.

Both segments of 67 (the other being Mendip Community Travel) are scheduled to finish in their current form at the end of the school term. Somerset claimed to have been unable to carry out consultation with the Parishes in the interim due to Purdah rules. Their big idea for the corridor appears to be getting Parish Councils to pay for the whole cost of running the route, which seems highly unlikely.

Given the very cosy arrangements between several local councillors, parish councils and the county council, i have little doubt that any solution which may happen for 67 will be a closed doors deal with MCT.
