My Further Maths exam is next week, I really need to start finalising some notes if I want it to go any better than my A Levels...

Here's hoping Nym. Was it for accreditation of some sort?

The important thing with exams of course isn't just passing them, but understanding the material. I didn't do particularly well in my last maths exam (56%) but I went and viewed my paper, saw what topics I'd done badly at, and have since tried to brush up on them a bit more. Also, as you're in your first year, you only need to pass it, it's the later years where you need to pass it with a good mark :p

Mercifully, I don't have any purely mathematical exams this session, although there is plenty of maths in all of the rest of them.

If fellow members are revising for examinations they need to log off from the forum and crack on!

Problem is I need some sort of leisure time activity that doesn't make me lose track of my day, and there's not much of that around :P

There is no need to, although spending an excessive amount of time on the forum is not recommended.

All work and no play, and all that...

I did better in my exams all those years ago at school by taking a well defined break each evening to switch off and then was able to go back to it fresh first thing next morning, aided of course by more coffee than was good for me!

You could always go for a run / jog.

To be fair, I have been out walking a lot more recently, even on days where I haven't needed to leave my flat. I've also been trying to cut down on the time I spend online on certain social media websites, and I don't enjoy reading the news as much as I used to...

Admittedly, I do need to get my revision notes in order tonight so that I can have a few solid days of work before my next exam.

Well good luck. Our twins are currently studying for their finals so I know exam time is not easy.

I'm hoping the last one I did is my last exam, last tuesday...
I'm currently fishing for the chance to do another exam in three or four years time. But as it'd be a viva examination for a PhD, it's one I'd actually like to have to do.
