Find the volume of a Class 319 cab interior.

If you're buying six or twelve-packs of eggs, find the highest egg to carton ratio.

Divide volume of cab by the volume of a six or twelve-pack, then multiply by six or twelve.

That is pessimistic (under estimate), as the eggs will tessalate when out of the box

...just thinking outside the box here #badumchee

If the eggs were all crushed to a messy eggy pulp you could get even more in. Also an easier calculation as don't need to work out the gaps between the eggs.

Find out the 319 cab volume = [A]

Smash up a few average eggs at home and get an average volume per mushed up egg from this =

[A] / = your answer

Or as shown in the video (which is what I want to know the answer to)... Easter Eggs!!!

Maybe we could ask Gary in the video?

In seriousness, I'd guess around 500, guessing on the size of the eggs and the boxes too.

No one apart from 507021 and D365 seems capable of capable of discussing this without making terrible egg puns!! Please! The suspense of not knowing is killing me.

If the eggs obscured the driver's windscreen, no trains would ever move since they wouldn't be able to see the ŒUF signal.

You should have asked, "how many pr*cks can you fit into the driving cab of a 319?"*
*answer, none. The pr*cks sit in the passenger saloon.

If the egg in question is more than 6', the cab design is rather eggcentric. An eggstremely uncomfortable driving position. It's a bit of a scramble to get comfortable.

Well they seemed to have 2 pallets of easter eggs there so find out the dimensions of a chep pallet then pause the video to try and count how many boxes high and wide they have got on one pallet then times it by two.

Shouldn't that be "how many chicks can you fit in the driving cab of a 319?"?

Yolking aside, there are people on another thread who are hatching a plot to get GA to shell out for better seats on their forthcoming Aventras.

A shame you didn't bother to use the asterisk the second time (and that it got through anyway) in your hilarious take on those that the railways are operated for - the passengers. This speaks volumes about the attitude of some who operate our railways.

Shame you can't see the difference between satire and seriousness. As a rail worker, I totally understand the importance of keeping our customers happy and moving. Doesn't stop some of them being pr*cks though.
Lighten up.

Wow, a light-hearted thread that's turned into petty bickering and insults. Brilliant.

One, however, that reveals the attitudes of some to their 'raison d'etre', I'm afraid (even in 'jest'). Those who regard passengers as a nuisance, or worse, should keep that attitude to themselves, even in on a forum such as this, where many people who are not railway employees post and read.

If that's old-fashioned, I'm proud to be so.

Oh, I can certainly see the difference extremely clearly, but some things do not amuse me if they are not funny. The comment didn't say "some of them are pr*cks"; it generalised.

This also misses the point about the use of asterisks if the full word gets through anyway. I'm pretty much as far from being a prude as it's possible to get, but that doesn't mean I need to resort to cheap generalisations.

It's a long stretch from eggs to "pr*cks", and one which seems to have been concocted to allow a jibe at passengers. Let's try the reverse - "how many pr*cks can you get in a passenger saloon; none, they are all in the cab!" Funny? No.

Anyway, I mustn't take this too far off this vital topic.

If you're going down that pedantic route, I must point out he never said that everyone in the passenger saloon is a prick. Just that pricks go in the passenger saloon. His statement leaves open the possibility of non-pricks going there too.

Some of those in the passenger saloon could be "some of those who operate our railways" so it seems pretty even-handed to me. As a passenger myself I'm happy to be referred to as a prick for the sake of a joke, I know it's not meant maliciously.

Hilarious. In fact, if you ask another driver that question you would probably get a good idea.

To be honest though, the whole thread should be closed if it is going down this route.

I've now edited the post to add the second asterisk. It was an obviously tongue-in-cheek contribution to a light-hearted thread.

Take a chill pill.
