Help buying First Class OXF - PAD Advance with Railcard

I'm after some advice on buying a First Class GWR ticket in advance while taking advantage of my 16-25 Railcard

I try and search on their website for a service that (should) be running an Intercity 125 service From Oxford to London Paddington, (for example RealTime: 1P47) but the only tickets that I'm able to buy are First Class Anytime what you're not able to use railcards for.

I'm pretty sure I have purchased First Class Advanced tickets from both Virgin Trains (West Coast and East Coast) and XC so I'm trying to work out what I'm doing wrong, or thats simply not an Intercity Train (Along with the other 5 services I've checked)

It was mentioned by GWR support that I could present my railcard while buying a ticket on the day to get discount but then I was told by staff at the station that First Class tickets can only be purchased in Advance if I want to use my Railcard.

Its not a major thing, I would just like to travel First Class on one of these units before they go out of service and before my Railcard expires. I wouldn't be posting if the difference in price was £4.60 vs £58.70 either!

I've just searched a random date for the aforementioned service (May 17) which for the benefit of others is the 1329 off Oxford to Paddington, and its thrown up a First Class advance of £13.20 with a railcard.

When are you looking to travel? Mondays to Fridays should be in the system up to mid July but the weekend dates often lag behind because of awaiting confirmation on engineering work.

Then the allocation of cheap AP tickets in first have already been sold. There's often only a small number of AP fares available and folk have already had 11 weeks to buy them. There's no guarentee of getting cheaper AP fares its first come first serve.
