Not sure who the bus belonged to but it's been reported only a driver was on board who escaped unhurt.

The Friends of PSV Circle Facebook has a photo of what is reported to be it before the thermal incident - HR11 OXF. It was on trade plates.

Really? HR11OXF was photographed in green in Oxford a few weeks ago. The bus on fire looks like it was red (hard to distinguish from the flames!)

This has happened a few weeks after a First Enviro 400 caught fire in Bath. Hopefully it is just a coincidence not a pattern with this vehicle type.

It was sent up north to do some work on it and revive a new Red Livery

Been around for 10 years and no major issues so probably just coincidence, especially with so many in service.

So this happened southbound, on the way back? Probably not quite what they meant by 'flame red'! Seriously though, an unfortunate loss.
