That's currently in dispute. The way things are going, if it gets accepted then it'll be a minimum of one year of part time Night Tube. But you can also apply for any other role after six months (standard probationary period).

It's night tube, so Friday & Saturday nights. Setting & finishing times might vary, but no matter whether you'll do Friday & Saturday night.

There is also an above inflation pay-rise kicking in from next week for all train operators.

The 2017/18 rate is not above inflation, it is RPI only. It is next year which will be 0.25% + RPI, and this is the final year of the pay deal, so the process will resume all over again!

You book on between 20.30-23.59 and the latest finish is 08.30. All shifts are 8 hours plus 30 mins unpaid meal break.

Also to clarify the job post, it is 16 hours a week not 15. You do 8 and a half hours each night with a 30 min unpaid break. (30 mins is the bare minimum, normally longer than that).

The holidays is 15 days for NT Trains Ops, you get one extra lieu day for training (see below) so it's 16 days a year, or 8 weeks as you only use 2 days for a week off.

There is a week of full time training once a year which is Mon - Fri during the day which you would need to be available for. You get the previous weekend off and that weeks weekend off with another day owed to you.

Nope, the salary is as advertised, no extras.

As stated previously in the thread, there are no extra hours available other than 16 per week, Friday and Saturday nights.

Took me 6 months from application to start of training. Training then went on for 22 weeks instead of what they advertise. Although I've been informed that the whole process will be more efficient and streamlined this time round I'll believe it when I see it...

I take it you're a night tube driver then matey? If so, are you able to say how you're finding the role? Is it how you expected it would be?

I didn't check my email until after submission. I did wonder why my confirmation email was after my online assessment invite.

Has anybody completed these tests. The link to practice tests gives a massive list of tests. What tests does the online assessment consist of ?

You must be on the Picc?! Only 13 weeks for me (was meant to be 12 but road test got cancelled).

Just called the recruitment number. Asked about whether my previous AC1 score(from previous Night Tube campaign) would be valid, apparently I do need to resit everything.

I've sent a backup email with some more information. Very annoying, but oh well.
