Looks like the Exeter Olds View depot is to be massively redeveloped come 2019.

Does anybody know which stock this upgrade will be for? The sheds seem quite long, so I am assuming that it is for either Hitachi AT300s, or HST Short Sets.

This is a major development. A friend of mine who's a GWR driver has been talking about it happening for a while but I didn't realise quite how big it was going to be.

This is a major development. A friend of mine who's a GWR driver has been talking about it happening for a while but I didn't realise quite how big it was going to be.

Its only goig to cover the existing ground and the area between roads one and two, I have seen the scale drawings and the anticipated movements dont work.

The trains will arrive through the wash and then immediately be fuelled etc, thats going to be popular with the fuellers having the water dropping on them especially in winter, the plans smack of trying to be clever but fails miserably, I found 4 major problems with the propsed layout of the tracks.
