As part of a project for uni, I am looking for technical data regarding the maintenance plan for the Siemens Class 380. I have found this hard to come by through internet searches. I am looking for more information regarding how Siemens regularly service the Class 380's and how they deal with failures when they arise. Is there anyone that could help with this?

Also, anyone with any knowledge on how to contact Shields depot in Glasgow would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it will be on a miles basis , for regular maintenance. And time for overhauls and C exams.

It's all in house with ScotRail now. The Siemens lot are no longer at Shields as far as I'm aware. Siemens still provide technical support if required but all maintenance is carried out by ScotRail fitters/technicians. Siemens were poor anyway - they couldn't even fix the clock on the HMI screens. All 38 380 units have clocks that can be up to 10minutes out!
