The forum cannot condone this as it is against the terms and conditions of these tickets, but people will do it themselves anyway. It is a well-known trick.
The cheapest is likely to be either Rugby or Pewsey.

In the interest of being helpful; I believe there is a (legal, unlike what the OP is attempting to do) loophole for travel from London to Stansted Airport, although as it isn't my neck of the woods I'm not 100% sure.
It is also good to know for daytrips from the airport - advance tickets to Birmingham are often cheaper than to London.
Stansted Express have reduced their fares last month, but they still don't seem to offer any railcard discounts with their advance fares? What is the loophole roversfan2001?
The best offer they had was the 1st class tickets including lounge entry at Stansted for the price of standard class, but that must have been 4 or 5 years ago.

If you're gonna cheat the railway out of revenue, at least give the money to a TOC who deserves it. Stratford upon Avon is £7.25.

I don't know myself; I have just heard of one. Someone more knowledgeable will be able to expand on this.
The most comon loophole is to buy a walkup ticket to/from Audley End and start/finish short at Stansted Airport. Travel at the right times, and its only £11.10 with railcard for a return trip, which is cheaper than the OP's dubious one-way AP ticket.
