Bath Spa station has been vandalised and covered in graffiti.

Ironic really that it should be a FGW station, as they have only encouraged this kind of behaviour in the past, with nonsense such as this:

At the time of the unveiling of Montpellier station, RailUK Forum users stated:
"What kind of message does this send out?"

according to the BBC, FGW own the station. That's news to me well this is suprising, how come it ends up as national news, in places like London (and here for that matter) unfortunately you see it a lot, does it not happen in the South West that much?

Montpelier was different - the station was cleaned tens of times and the graffiti kept coming back. The (former) station manager personally painted the station once and graffiti appeared that night.

The graffiti mural was carried out with full approval of the Line Working Group, on which I sit, and actioned by Severnside Community Rail Partnership, which is independant from FGW, although some managers from FGW do sit on it.

That picture doesn't show a lot of damage, but more importantly how on Earth did they do that on the platform level without anyone noticing?!

I cannot agree with Phoenix's statement at all, I have never seen that many anti-FGW members on here so to declare the forum as an anti-FGW site is hardly fair, accurate and will lead to suspicision from any BTP reading this.:roll:

I hope they get the b*st**ds who did it. Personally I detest graffiti & do not see it as "art" at all. They should get the people who did it to remove it with very small toothbrushes, that should take them a long long time.
