Yeah I shall be on the tour and there won't be any numbers on the specific loco numbers for the tour until a day or two before.
Although we might find out what will be on the back hopefully before

I'm booked onto this from Birmingham INTL. Nice long day for me. 5am wake up call, hours drive to birmingham intl for a 7.20 start. Arrive back at birmingham intl for 23.30 (or so has been said) then an hours drive back to MK. Lovely

Nice, best of luck with that. I'm on from New Street with a friend, i'm from worcester so half hour drive for me. Should be good, outward route is via Bescot yard.

Well honestly im okay with a few long waits just not do heads out whilst everything is stopping and starting (although clag hellfire and so froth (forth) but yeah on the way home it will be me chilling in a nice warm seat a few beers and watching the world pass by anyone wanna join???

Only a couple of 20s actually in service at the moment isn't there so should have a good idea whats likely to produce unless some are re-instated nearer the time for the outing.

Yeah thats true but like you said they can pull two out of store so it can be any of them personally I do think it will be two of the active fleet.

I've only ever driven past bescot yard but probably loads of 66s, maybe 67s, lots of stored 37s, 47s etc.

If you mean of the tour, No, presume it will recess in the Goods line. Of stored stuff just depends where about you stop and what wagons are dumped as to whether you will be able to view anything.

doubt it. when I was in bescot in december, there wasn't that much there. IIRC there's only 4 37s there an a few gronks

Well it depends which area is the one with the 37's and if that's where we will be.
I also expect there to be at least one class 92 maybe more and the odd 60 as the yard probably has it's highest number of loco's on saturday due to the ballast workings the following day or simply they just are there till the monday workings.

You and the rest of the world Best tour of last year for me was the Spitfire DRS 37s to Cleethorpes just cos we had decent stock!!!! Oh well, I've succumbed anyway and booked on this 20 tour, if only to abuse 43004 - I gather he's currently paying Council Tax in Carlisle cos he spends so much time there

The wcrc stock on the settle for edinburgh was an oven at sheffield but by doncaster resembled a freezer. Im sure its not safe at 75mph

Well I don't remember where I was but on the way it was towards the front but anyway we didnt have too much trouble with our coach but I remember something about a broken window.
But generally that set was manky because it reeked of sweat and the toilets were nasty but if you kept to your set you were okay.

So how often are 20 railtours???

I had a conversation with someone about this the other day and last year there were two tours but one was a VIP tour so offcially only the one spitfire tour so that's why Im on this one this id rather spend my money on the rarer traction.

Im kinda hoping someone is actually going to bust out a goyle tour this year.
