The title is a bit vague :p

Well, I'll start then;
Can it be of something like people in a station?

To be fair I have to agrree as how can you have non rail shots in a railway environment but I dont make the theme's.
But as is always say it doesn't have to be 100% spot on the theme.

Trust Craig to come up with a theme like this!

Wooden Spoon Of The Month Award, I think.... :)

Anyway, my interpretation would be, as long as the subject of the photograph is non-rail, AND it's taken on or near the railway, it counts...

So, for example, people or animals or whatever on or near the railway IS acceptable, BUT pasengers or the station master's cat aren't, because they ARE railway-related...

... I think...

...for what it's worth...

Feel free to interpret the theme however you like, eezypeazy has summed it up quite well. The sort of shots I had in mind were ones taken from a train or something not to do with railways snapped between trains during a fotting session.

Here's a couple of examples:

The front of Sheffield Station (taken after returning from London on Gizzy's birthday meet).

The North Sea taken from the train near Berwick.

I am a little confused by this, don't know what I could enter really, is a sign at a station acceptable or a railway bridge?

Would any photo taken from a train not including a train be acceptable.

As long as you can link it to the railways in some way and the photo in question does not show anything that your average Joe would recognise as a ralway photo then your okay.

Why wouldn't that be allowed? Its a non rail subject taken on or near the railway, so a photo taken from a train not including a train would be acceptable.

Ultimately your choice but if you feel that fits the theme, enter it and as usual if people don't approve they won't vote for it.

When I said no, I was referring to the first part of his post...he hadn't added the second. Connor obviously pressed submit a fraction of a second before me!
