33012 at Eastleigh and other bits

Popped down to Eastleigh featuring 33012 being moved to the works by 73205 and the other usual bits in a mix of thick fog and sunshine.

Great shots there Calum. I guess with some many steamers and one fantastic BofB class 34070 Manston :razz: at swanage now they don't need there 33 for the time being untill the season starts as I know they do on some days Steam and Diesel togeather but I guess they put the 108 on.

Apperantly 33103 is to move down to the Swanage Railway covering for 33012 while its at Eastleigh.

They have 33111 down there and i believe sister 'bagpipe' 103 is heading down that way to cover 012.

If thats the one I am thinking off then 33111 is sitting in norden sidings rottening away. Does anyone know when there 20 is to return as its at the SVR at the moment ? It was also used in James Bond film Golden eye

33034 is the one at Norden. 33111 is in full working order. No idea about the 20 though.

That's gone too. It is now at Peak Rail.

Thats it I remember they saying they getting rid there 47 as they did not need it.

33034 is the one at Norden. 33111 is in full working order. No idea about the 20 though.

20188 staying with us at the valley I believe, in use as p'way loco and other diesel jobs in the winter as most other stuff is winterised, was in use doing a spot of shunting in the yard at Kiddy last week.

Yeah thanks for that it is a nice looking 20 in black. Do they use it on there Diesel galas?

Yep, its quite a regular and popular with loco crews. Was in use at the last SVR Diesel event and also worked several of the two round trip diagrams that operate throughout the summer on a Saturday. Would have thought it would see use on these diagrams again this year.
