Just wondering how often this service runs namley on a Saturday and what Rolling Stock is used on this service ?

Class 170s, not 100% on frequency though!

I think it's hourly as it's the Nottingham - Cardiff XC service. Not 100% certain though.

I think theres also an hourly Brum New St-Notts service as well, presumably interworked with the Cardiffs so as to provide an half-hourly service.
I think there are also EMT services on this route.

Doesn't Nottingham get 1 Voyager service a day to Reading or somewhere similar? I remember reading something on a PDF when XC announced there Manchester - Bristol services.

yeah, the 0637 to Bournemouth via Winchester and all that. On Mon-Fri there's 3 trains an hour, as Matlock services now start at NOT. 153s, 156s and 158s are used (no first class remember)

No. 99% of trains goes direct from Loughborough to Derby via Long Eaton.

Derby - Nottingham now has 3 trains an hour in both directions, the matlock (emt), the cardiff (axc) and the birmingham (axc)

The EMT is run with class 153s, and both AXC services are run with 170s.

rather annoyingly, the EMT one doesn't run Saturdays though in the timetable there's a few Nottingham-Derby runs, are these sprinters or what?
