"Yorkshire Steam" series.

Whilst looking in my railway archives, I came across a small sized Volume 4 in this series, with a 4pp laminated card cover and all inside pages printed in black and white. The final page shows a picture of the first DMU to run from Whitby to Malton in April 1959.

Inside, it states that the series was originated and edited by Allen Rowley, Promotions and Publicity Manager, Yorkshire Post Newspapers Limited. There is no publication date shown in the volume.

Does anyone know of this series, how many volumes there were and the time period when they would have been printed?

It looks like there were five in total. Transport Store have copies of four of them, but no publication dates.

I used to have the full set, it was a long time ago. They were originally published sometime in the early or mid 70s. I don't know what I did with mine, but I haven't got any of them now.
