Does anyone have any idea of the predicted cost for works at Windmill Junction to remove the various conflicts and there reduce some of the issues on the Brighton mainline?

No costs but I'd recommend this article to understand the plans:

just wonder how they are gonna avoid disruption while the rebuilt takes place lol
I know that the plans are pretty much sealed and unable to be changed, but would it not have been easier and cheaper to install a couple of new connectors where the Quarry and Main lines cross over each other? It's in fairly open countryside very little track will need replacing to add the points to the existing lines, and it may *just* be possible to have all movements running at 90mph when works are complete. Or am I completely missing the point and solving a problem that doesn't exist?
(it doesn't help that the crossovers just before Coulsdon South was removed for some reason...)
EDIT - I had a brain fart and forgot where Windmill Junction actually is - please remove this post
It would be interesting know for what speed limit the down fast to down slow connection north of Selhurst will be designed. If, say, 60mph, it would allow crossing trains to clear it quickly and minimise delays from this one remaining at-grade connection.
Probably something like:It will just need one weekend possession.
Very unlikely to be more than 50mph given so much of the other points and crossing on the slows will be 50mph.
Aim is 60mph fasts (if possible) and 50mph for slows).

Probably something like:
2019-2020 Norwood Junction rebuild
2019 start of new fast lines build
2020-2024 East Croydon rebuild starts
2023 work on slows starts
I think we should be told if they are times or years?![]()
