Winchester City continued on a roll through December after a superb comeback in darkest Devon. Despite dominating the first half, they fell behind to a quick free kick on the stroke of half time. They got back in in the second half after Stuart Green beat three defenders to fire home, before Craig Feeney was brought down in the area in stoppage time and converted from twelve yards. Despite the outrage of the home crowd, the Bideford manager admitted that it was a stonewall penalty. All this with a depleted squad, too.
