Another interesting thing is that these stations.

Gunnersbury
Harlesden
Harrow & Wealdstone
Kensal Green
Kenton
Kew Gardens
North Wembley
Queens Park
South Kenton
Stonebridge Park
Wembley Central

All still have their Scheidt & Bachmann TVMs painted in the Silverlink livery.

If we include pre-nationalisation then that could be said of many z1 interchange stations - Charing Cross was three for example

Charing Cross was two stations into the 1970s i.e. Strand and Trafalgar Square. There were only two lines, so three stations would have been impossible. The ORIGINAL Charing Cross underground station became Embankment around the time the other two stations were renamed, which happened in time for the new Jubilee Line terminus.

I still say that Elephant was regarded as two stations, with separate staff.

Not sure how it would be possible to argue Waterloo is anything other than one station. Are you referring to the Waterloo & City or the Jubilee as being part of the "other" station?

All lines except the W&C are within the same gateline, and the W&C is only just outside of it!

Waterloo & City of course.

Separate numbering of the platforms, and outside the gateline for others.

There has to be a consistent set of criteria for deciding whether they are one station. I still can't figure out what they are.

I am leaning towards the idea that Waterloo LU is in fact two stations, but of course only one CRS code, whereas Paddington and Edgware Road both have two.

Well, Euston has NR and Underground as two entities on the Oyster system; given the W&C's heritage, perhaps it should just be considered subsumed into the NR station. ;)
