Hi all,

Quick one with regards to LM trainee drivers. What classes can trainees expect to be on during/after the training period?

TIA.

I'm guessing you mean traction and not classroom based courses

I would have thought it would very much depend on which depot your going to be based at but they do run a bit of a variety of traction.

By the looks of things it will probably be old London Underground "D" stock

No any trainee would be safe from D trains - only link 1 at Coventry will sign them

What depot you at? If new Street it's 323 170 153, snow Hill 172, Wolverhampton 323 170 153 350 so it really depends.

Throw in Coventry, 323's, 350's and 153's (link 1 only).

Training is well.....a combination of rules modules, traction and road learning in the classroom and out and about with an instructor, plus a few weeks front ending in between modules or while you await to start the next bit. That's only a quick list, there is stuff I've missed but that broadly covers it.

Stourbridge Junction (or is that just conductors?)

Depending on how far you're looking there's also Crewe, Shrewsbury and Northampton.
