I know the rule here is not to speculate, but assuming their version of ORR is not in the mindset of releasing reports, might I hazard a guess, looking at the location, there was a sort of accident you see on American railways where trucks try to jump the lights?

Report says one driver is in hospital in critical condition. Had to be cut out of the cab by the firebrigade.

The other "driver" stepped out of the cab.

It happened in the village of Nyul, south of Gyor, western Hungary.

It could be that the trailer rather than the tractor unit of the truck took the main part of the impact with the locomotive cab as the truck cab unit appear to have been ripped from the trailer and thrown aside, surely if that had been hit full on by the 125tonne loco the truck driver wouldn't have stood a chance.
