Trivia: Who operates your local station?

I put South West Trains as they operate my local station(s) when I'm back home. If I were to put my nearest station to where I'm staying when I'm at uni then it would be Network Rail (Bristol Temple Meads).

Bryn is only Northern operated and gets the standard hourly service apart from the morning and evening rush hour. It has been done up to coincide with the electrification of the line and is modern with bus shelters, CCTV and PIS. No idea about ticket machines there though as I use Wigan stations.

I think you will find it has two trains an hour each way!

Call it your local station and you don't even know that!

Is anyone's local station Fishguard Harbour? Who operates that? Do ATW operate Holyhead?

I believe the former is Stena with the latter being ATW.

Iv ticked NR as Waverley is my principal local however this is an Island in a see of Scotrail managed stations around it. Wish Scotrail ran EDB's booking office, its currently VTEC and IMO getting worse.

Fishguard Harbour is managed by ATW. However the station is owned by Stena.

Operates and Fenny Stratford is a bit of stretch - There isnt much to operate! London Midland trains chug up and down and someone empties the bin and changes the posters every so often if that counts

Closest is Milton Keynes Central operated by London Midland. Formerly my local stations were operated by Southern, Southeastern, and Chiltern - not necessarily at the same station.

London Midland for me. I've never had a problem with their stations.

Waterloo (Merseyside) is mine. I'm only 5mins away from the station. Makes planning trips a lot easier.

SWT. Well kept and very helpful and knowledgable staff.

Scotrail for me at Bridgeton. Although the staff like to hide in the back and pretend there's no one there.

EMT at Whitwell (WWL) although it'd merely a bit of concrete with a shelter, usually at least 1 broken pane of glass and 2 screens, recently upgraded from old CRT monitors with a woman who can't pronounce ANY of the station names.

Worksop (WRK) is my nearest staffed station, which is Northern operated, though in fairness even when it is staffed it often may aswell not be, which is sad in a way.
