Always like using the newer NSB trains (Norwegian State Rail) between Oslo and the various airports.

Can't find a photo of the interior - but the newer ones have more legroom, and video screens dotted throughout giving weather information, route information and news updates from the local press and TV.

That is a question outside of this topic.

Sorry if I caused any offence, was just interested as I've just joined the forum. If you are from the Netherlands or Groningen itself, I love your country, language, trains and beer! I also quite like the intercityrijtuig!!

These look very similar to the units for the new East Anglia franchise.

That's because they are - Stadler FLIRTs with a curved body profile (albeit the UK ones will be smaller and have a higher floor).

Yes. I especially commented on them being similar for that body profile and the window/doors, which are almost identical to the UK artist's impression. All other Flirts I've seen have a flat body profile.

I wonder whether they just altered this Flirt to get the artist's impression and whether we will actually see something else?

I would very much expect it to look like that, though with a slightly higher floor (the curve out will start roughly in the middle of where the red band is on that one) and slightly smaller in profile - probably about the same size as the Swiss narrow gauge ones.
