Spotting at Stratford Intl

Hi,

I wanted to spend some time at Stratford Intl getting some pics, but would like to use a Off Peak Day Travelcard to get there. Is this possible? It's for tomorrow (Sunday), how would I get to Stratford and through the barriers if I can't use my travelcard?

Just buy a paper single or return at St Pancras to Stratford. Or use Oyster/Contactless (although beware exceeding the maximum journey time for the latter if you want to hang around on the platform)
