Would be impossible now as the track layout at Nuneaton changed.
I think it is possible in theory by running through and reversing on the site of the old Abbey Street station, though it may not be signalled for passenger moves. But I don't think Network Rail would want it to happen.
I agree this was a major loss, leaving Coventry-Nuneaton as an hourly shuttle of little use to most people. The best we can hope for is that the D-train conversion is successful and a second one then appears on the route, which would give better connections at Nuneaton.
