RED SECTION UPDATE

Following completion of the long-term engineering work, both Moorfields and Glasgow Queen Street (High Level) stations have fully reopened, and no longer appear in the Red Section on the first page.

Electrification work has now started on the Barking to Gospel Oak Line, and a rolling programme of either partial or full closures is under way. Therefore the following may be considered out-of-bounds for the purposes of the quiz:

Barking to South Tottenham; closed until February 2017.
Carlisle to Armathwaite; closed until further notice.
Dover Priory to Folkestone Central; closed until Autumn 2016.
Oxford to Oxford Parkway; scheduled to open December 2016.

It should be noted that C2C services to Barking are unaffected by the closure, including the weekend trains to/from London Liverpool Street. Although these services pass through Woodgrange Park, they do not call and the station is inadmissible.

This still remains to be added to the RED SECTION at the foot of the very first posting on the thread, as when I just looked there, it was not shown.

OxtedL has now added the Barking to South Tottenham closure to the list - thanks OxtedL! :D
