Thursday 30th/Friday 1st July off peak revenue runs Brighton - core - Bedford
Monday 4th continues all week(m-f)
Monday 11th July 3 diagrams in use
Then two diagrams per week to be converted to 700 (primarily FLU-12 car)

Does anyone have information on what the diagrams for the 700 services will be?

Will any 700s be out Monday-Wednesday next week? Using the same diagrams at Monday, etc this week?

5Z26 0951 Three Bridges Depot - Brighton
1W26 1105 Brighton - Bedford
2W43 1354 Bedford - Three Bridges
5Z43 1611 Three Bridges - Three Bridges Depot

Now I just need someone who knows more than me to say that I'm wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong the 700s will initially be used on London Bridge-Brighton turns over the weekend which kind of makes sense as it would release a Southern 377 for work elsewhere

Nope. Total ban on bikes on trains on the route on the London to Brighton weekend. If just half the riders tried to get trains back to London that would 12500 people + bikes.

Well that's the plan. However not confirmed yet they will be working that from Thursday. Few last minute things need to happen first.

Your wrong. 700 introduction needs to release Electrostar's for GN first. Replacing the SN 377 is a side product that will happen at some point. Don't forget that currently there are Brighton to London Bridge services that are Southern's and yet to transfer to Thameslink.

Guesswork here but first Southern driven 700 could be these services.

Full diagram would mean train coming into service at about 0600 and coming out of service at about 2300 (or later), rather than the diagrams that it is on now where it works a handful of services between the peaks.

Dom is correct. We do not yet have a single full diagram, just partial workings.

Won't be long however until this changes.

By chance I had a ride for the first time on one of these today. Was supposed to be from Three Bridges to London Bridge but the train was terminated at Gateway due to very late running. Although it was only a 5 minute run, I was really impressed. It was quiet and airy without ghastly operating theatre lights and the ride is excellent. Looking forward to them being introduced on the Sutton loop.

yeh, for all my criticism about the seating, i was impressed by the ride.

I suppose that is helped by the fact that the suspension has "gone" on most of the ELectrostars and they now sway and bounce like no bodies business.

The suspension on Electrostars is always a bit lively, particularly at the back of the train. Try a brand new 387/2 going through Cricklewood on the down fast.
