It remains to be seen whether the fact it was a busway is anything to do with it, but it does appear to me that there seems to be more incidents in relative terms involving guided buses compared to normal buses, but I don't suppose there are any statistics to prove or disprove that...

Fifteen passengers were taken to hospital and 17 others treated at the scene after the collision on the Busway on Saturday afternoon.
East of England Ambulance Service said five patients were suspected to have serious injuries.
None of the injuries were life-threatening and others were "walking wounded", an ambulance spokesman said.....
