Don't forget the odd one from Platform 17. These are the West London Line Brighton to Watford services which leave every hour

Unless there's disruption at Victoria its not worth going to Platform 17 the ex- Watford service off peak departs XX 54 and travels via the slow lines to Gatwick.
On platform 13 there's a XX53 Littlehampton/Eastbourne service calling only at East Croydon before Gatwick and arriving 10 mins earlier.

If you're going to Gatwick in the morning peak from Clapham. You may find it easier to get to East Croydon and change as there is a reduced service in the mornings heading south. A right pain when heading home to after nights!

the times i have are 06:25 into clapham on SWT and 06:38 out on Southern to Gatwick, there is another one that goes at the same time but it means a change at East Croydon as well as at Clapham, and it only gets to Gatwick a few mins earlier then the one i'm planning to catch

The 06.38 is a stopping service to Brighton it would normally leave from platform 13.
The alternative is actually the same train to East Croydon you can alight for a normally same platform (3) change to a FCC service.
The Southern service will normally change to the Redhill Line between Purley and Coulsdon South. The FCC will overtake the Southern service by using the Quarry line non stop to gatwick.
