New timetables

Can anyone tell me please when the summer timetable starts? I assume all TOCs have to start it at the same time? Thanks.

Not that very much is about to change, as far as I can see.

But I confess I had assumed it was Monday.

Is this a new(ish) thing? I thought in ye olde days (I mean BR era) that the timetables changed on a Monday. (of course, the dates used to be different - used to change in September, not December.)

The Timetables have had Sunday start dates for many, many years now. I think it may have been to standardise with Europe. Likewise with May and December start dates.

This is pathetic, it comes into service tomorrow.
