(Possible) North West Northern driver strike, Monday 13th October

Interesting bit of news here.

I asked a conductor on the way to Uni today about this strike action and he tells me it's because Northern Drivers aren't getting suitable break times between duties and that Northern have "moved the goalposts" so to speak.

Any inside information on the story, guys?

The strike had NOTHING to do with pay. The strike was over terms & conditions and managment not adhering to laid down agreements among other things
