I think it is 150247 at Wolverton, not been sighted for over a month.

150233 also. Two units to be done at a time now, given extra time they are taking to correct corrosion problems.

WOW wasn't aware GWR were fitting leather seats to the one remaining first class cabins on the turbos guessing that is the sole unit with the GWR interior?

Regarding 377/6s I expected the worst getting on one after comments the seats are worse than the 387s yet despite having just been on the 377/1 springy seats and although just travelling from east croydon to Purley I found them surprisingly comfortable... and the legroom must be the best on any new train

Oddly other times I have a lot of numbness when sitting on this kind of seat. Not sure why this is

Yes - 166205 is the sole example at the moment - it also has the green standard class seats and a green/grey internal wall finish, etc. Carpets are also new (green-ish). The whole thing looks very good to my eyes. I make a point of ordering this unit for my morning train!

It's been rumoured that further new interiors are on hold because of the issues you've stated.

Personally, I think they should go back to something like the first post-privatisation Great Western Trains interior, perhaps using green moquette with silver/grey highlights.

I thought it ironic the other day when I travelled on 166205, the only 166 to have been refurbished internally and with the new paint scheme externally, only to find it still carries the old FGW message stream!

205 received a different version of the TrainFX firmware, enabling it to announce any delays attributed to the particular service along with a reason. However it was frequently announcing incorrect information, so it looks like it's been rolled back to the pre GWR version!

Also, when the system isn't set, all units still say 'Welcome aboard this First Great Western Service'.

I hate to play Devil's Advocate, but I quite like it :P I agree that the lime green stripe on the doors isn't easy on the eye, but it is probably DDA compliant so is worth it in the long run.
