Don't know but it could be a light engine move as a change of loco takes place at Millerhill.
Drivers I don't know about.

422 only done two crank tours to my knowledge this year, Buffer Puffer on feb 2nd when I had it and June 21st on the SRPS tour which clashed with 423 working the Paignton, other than VSOE's to Oban it ain't done much passenger wise. Meanwhile 401 and 417 have done most tours although 405 worked on March 8th and April 5th. Looking forward to a good thrash through the night anyway, ain't had a tractor on an overnight since November 06 when 406 worked the Fort Bill sleepers vice skip.

So, I haven't had them this year, but I think they are bloody boring tour engines.

37417 appears to have been engaged in passenger work on 12 days this year alone going off the C37LG website. 56302/303 have probably worked about 12 passenger turns combined since they were built, in my book the grid is far bigger.

Haven't seen Pathfinder offering a reduction on account of another tour running not as advertised? Hardly makes me want to book on any others....

Well despite loads of ill-informed jibber and instant experts we had slightly more 37 mileage than originally planned as after being refused access to Millerhill we ran direct to Edinburgh only for the driver to refuse to take 417 with the failed headlight so had to return there. originally we were going to do the Alloa bit with the tractors (after we couldn't get to Millerhill) but we then had to have the rancid 60 for that. the set was also std at the back leaving Bristol so if we hadn't have had the farce we would have been right at the back all day apart from 5 and a half miles from Glasgow to Deanside loop. However we did get from Millerhill to Glasgow behind the rancid type 5 and Deanside all the way back with the 37's, 92 & 66. Despite having only booked about 4 days before the tour when it was announced 37's would be vice grid I was in the front bay behind the 37's however still managed to fall asleep as soon as they come on all the way to Beattock :roll:

Failed at Beattock, we were looped then got the road, sat there and then it was put back, then left about 5 minutes later with 422 working only. i fell asleep again then but was woke up by OJ to say that we were about 5 mins away from carlisle and the tea trolley was just approaching. I had just got one and had just finished putting the milk in when we got the road, 422 was slipping like mad, great way to wake up, drinking tea out the window as a tractor tries to drag load 13 + a dead 37 away froma signal stop 8)

We got re-watered during the stop at Glasgow and a few hoses got rolled out at Carlisle to top the tanks up, The two toilets in the front vestibule were useless after the overnight, one bloke tried to steal Iain's drink and after he snatched it back he went into one of the toilets. i went into use it after he came out and the dirty bugger had pi$$ed up all the walls, in the sink and all over the floor, had flushed paper towels down the bog till it was blocked and then just kept flushing it till the pan overflowed and the floor was covered in pi$$, you really see some undesirables on these tours, surely they don't do things like this at home? As I went to go to the toilet before getting off one lad who was standing at the window said 'i wouldn't bother mate, there absoultly rancid'. The next vestibule down didn't have any and the vestibule after that had 4, the two in the mk2 were locked out with handles taken off while the one of the ones in the Mk1 looked like it had been used by the same bloke as the one in the front and then other one stunk to high heaven and had no water! In short if you wanted to use the toilet and didn't want something that was trashed or would give you nasal cancer then FC was the best bet!
