Hi all!

Please could someone say what 1st class menu will be available on the 18:39 from Warrington Bank Quay to Euston (I'm travelling to Coventry, a journey time of 1h 51m.) This is for travel on Friday the 15th of January.

Should be the warm afternoon on the West Midlands service at that time of day.

Poached salmon and lemon mayonnaise sandwich

Warm Luxury Mediterranean vegetable pastries with salad leaf and cherry tomatoes (v)

Sweet cured bacon and potato salad (gf)

Cocktail nibbles (v)

Plus a choice of cake, biscuit, chocolate or crisps (v)

Menu changes next Monday, no sign of what it will be yet though.

AFAIK none of the Scotland/North West to Euston via Birmingham have the evening meal service, it's always the warm afternoon from lunchtime onwards.

The evening meal service is on the Scotland/North West to Euston via the Trent Valley only I think.

Try not to get too excited - the cocktail nibbles are a tiny bag of pretzels or peanuts.

The med veg pasties are nice however they are bitesize and in total as about half the length of a Greggs sausage roll. The chicken and bacon salad doesn't have a lot of taste to it. I'm not sure about the sandwich as I don't like salmon.

If you're expecting to be hungry though take a sandwich or something onboard with you as the portions are snack size.
