I'm a brush ned yes. Not a bodysnatcher ned! 57s took brush body shells and put a new engine in them so they are no more 47s than an 87 is to an 86. Oh, and 57601 lost me 400 87 miles and absolutely staggered back on a tour.

I thought you would be glad that some duffs had been given a new lease of life.
By this logic does that mean that HST power cars are no longer HST power cars as they have all been re-engined?

They do. They change over on a Sunday when no service on the route. ECS to/from Tyseley.

Every Monday there is an ECS movement from Wembley to Eastleigh - 0953 from Wembley - usually a DBS Class 67.

Today it was 2 x (red) DBS livery Class 67 - made quite a sight passing my office in Chiswick

Anyone tell me which 2 they were? Hopeless trying to read small white numbers from my desk...
