Weird thing happening when trying to use this website

This is spooking me out and I wondered if anyone can explain it.

Last night I opened the tab for the forums on my iPhone 6, and a second or so after the main page appeared it sort of slid sideways to be replaced by some random app in the App Store, not even connected to rail. I thought it must be my settings, but when I tried to get in on my iPhone 5S exactly the same thing happened. It continued all evening. I had created a tab for the forums earlier in the day on a new Sony Android phone and that was working fine.

Today it has returned to normal on the iPhone 5S but the 6 is still doing the same thing and redirecting me from the railuk forums to some weird Apps that I have no interest in.

All I can think of is that there might be a maximum number of devices that I can access my account from. Anyone got any ideas?

Same here! Straight to the just eat app. I've turned off Java script and now is fine. I'm using iphone 6.

Thank you! I thought I was going mad. Was half expecting an email telling us the site had been compromised.

I'll try to work out where to disable JavaScript.

Glad I wasn't the only one but hope there isn't a serious problem in the offing.

Indeed, when viewing the forum with a mobile and not logged in (so advertising relating) my Android Chrome browser has a new tab opened relating to either adult sites or downloading bogus security software.

I've had to resort to adblocking this site when browsing on my Android device.

Having adult websites open in a new tab is most unwelcome.

Fortunately I haven't had the adult content one, but if I see the just eat app one more time I'll punch something. Having to turn off JavaScript just to view this site and then I forget and can't get safari to work properly....

Any update on this situation mods?

It's a common issue, affecting sites with Google-provided ads across the Internet. It will clear up by itself once Google get on top of the issue.

In the meantime, you may wish to use the Tapatalk app whilst browsing on Mobile, which is not affected by the issue.

I've just started using an adblocker on the forum, it's the only site that seems to ever be affected by the issue.

Can you recommend me a good adblocker? Wary of downloading anything I'm not sure about.
