Plenty of choice of coaches - Bluebird are in the process of replacing their 07/59 reg B12BTs on Buchan Link work, and Cumbria have 4 59 reg B7Rs awaiting transfer to Scotland.

It was reported elsewhere that the X55 "Perth" journeys will be operated by the standard length B9 Elites, that were new for the X7. They are being replaced at Glenrothes by some of the 15m Panthers being replaced by the new EliteIs at North Scotland.

That because Parks of Hamilton has a M91 at 1810 and 2030. It would seem 3 of the coaches will be based at Perth.

Also it should be noted you would actually be quicker getting the No56 and changing over at the Halbeath P&R for Edinburgh.

The new 56 timetable doesn't seem to be available yet?

I hope they add Perth to the Fife Megarider+ ticket, I don't fancy paying for an east Scotland megarider each month!

I dare say wait six months and Parks will curtail those journeys and hopeful Stagecoach will add in extra run at 18.15.

Stagecoach are not changing any Megarider tickets so only ticket valid from Dunfermline to Perth will be the East Scotland Megarider at £160/month

Thought they might have changed the Fife Megarider+ or Tayside Megarider to include X55 into Fife like the 56.

All very well Parks having an 1810 but if you have a Stagecoach ticket its not much good.

I don't think they were all actually leased when new, and as you say some were bought at the end of the lease. 54027/36 are certainly not leased now.

Two interesting points about the changes;

Evening and Sunday service 34A will continue to serve Lindores Drive but no longer serve Blairmore Road and Broom Road. On weekdays and Sundays the late evening service is withdrawn due to low usage. Services 12A, 15A and 32 provide alternative services between Kirkcaldy, Chapel and Bowhill section of route and service 19 between Ballingry and Lochgelly. The majority of customers using the withdrawn journeys will be able to use these alternatives but for a small number this will not be possible. Fife Council has investigated the possibility of subsidising the continued operation of these journeys but that has not proven possible.

I doubt anyone was actually using the journeys up to Ballingry, hence the reason the council were not going to pay for any replacement There could have paid for the connection with the No32.

Due to low usage Halbeath Park & Ride and Mossgreen will no longer be served on the route, although service X26 will continue to provide a link between these two locations and Fife Council are looking at retaining a link from Mossgreen to Cowdenbeath.

A dail a bus could cover that and still run empty most of the time.

Why is it waiting two weeks? The 17B is a council route and can change at a snap of the fingers.

I take it the 17C is commerical new service? There better watch out or the council will have to pull the plug on the 17B between Kelty and Cowdenbeath.

Just looked at the timetable on Traveline it would seem the 17C is commercial, I cant see it lasting long, nor can I see the 17B lasting long in that new format either.

First of the B11 coaches have begun to be delivered for the X58/X60 which should enter service on 23rd November. Does anyone know where the B7s will go ehen they get replaced?

Does anyone know when the coaches for bluebird (aberdeen to buchan link) are going to enter service and where the existing buses will go?

The new Buchan Xpress coaches are in service on Monday 16th.

The New B11 coaches will be deliverer three a week, with the first two already in service since the launch took place yesterday.

The B7 will be heading out of the company

The current B12 at Glenrothes have started to gain new livery for the X55.

Its still very unclear what B15 are being sent to Glenrothes and whether there will have Leather seats.

Yes, the new B11R/Elites are indeed for delivery at the rate of 3/week (ta Dougie King).

Not all B7Rs replaced will be leaving the country - it is anticipated that most will be kept as B10M coach replacements.

The vehicles for the X55 are B9R/Elites, not B12Bs.

There is no such thing as a B15, however it is likely that the B12BTs coming from Bluebird will be 59 plate.

Looks like most of the 73 hybrids that were introduced back in may have now been fitted with realtime tracking device sometime over the weekend as most 73s are shown in realtime this morning.
