What do you define as a single journey? If infinite changes but reasonably direct route, then it's probably Benelux to Istanbul via Slovenia or Hungary.

In that case I think the Moskva - Nice wins. Single trains over very long distances across multiple countries are now quite rare.

It is 8, because you can't travel overland from Moskva to Warszawa without travelling through Belarus
