Damn! I thought of that one, but openstreetmap only showed one track at the station, so I discarded that. Network Rail map does say it's double track though... :/

It is double track, though there is only a platform alongside the down line. Up trains booked to stop, ie pretty much all of them, cross to the up line and back again.
