New livery for class 442 unit - 8/7

A couple from this evening at Bickley

442417 displaying it's new livery working the 5Z42 1800 Ashford Chart Leacon to Lovers Walk.

Nice shots, the livery on the 442 reminds me of the livery on the Spanish Renfe class 446 EMUs.

Mixed reaction really. I like the colour scheme, but yet, it doesn't suit it that much. Have to agree with CraigS. It looks like a foreign livery

I should think so seeing as it will be used on peak time Gatwick Express services between London Victoria-Gatwick-Brighton/Eastbourne starting during December this year.

Eh I think it will grow on me. Saying that as when I first saw the SWT Express livery I hated it, but I think its a stylish livery now.
