Hi,

I'm about to start a new job, and planning to commute by tube.

Can anyone tell me what it's like going from Oxford Circus to Paddington at bout 8.15 in the morning?

Thanks a lot

It will be very busy, though not as busy as the Victoria line!

You may have to wait for a train or so to pass through before being able to get on.

If your job allows it,try travelling an hour or half hour earlier to see if that is any nicer.

Try taking the Bakerloo line.

Well, yeah, well done there captain obvious...

I realise the change involves a heck of a lot more walking (as opposed to the cross-platform type change), but Green Park might be worth trying out. If you've got a couple of spare mornings between now and your job starting, why not do a little reconnaissance?

Where you have many possibilities
No.1
Brixton-Victoria (Victoria Line)
Victoria-Paddington (Circle line)
No.2 Reccomended
Brixton-Oxford Circus (Victoria Line)
Oxford Circus-Paddington (Bakerloo line)

Cross Platform Interchange at Oxford Circus
(if wishing to get off at Paddington, get to the middle of the train)

its a bit crowded on the Victoria line in the mornings
