I understood that parlys were moves that could only be made on a train kept solely for the purpose of not closing the station, hence why I query where a train leaves a parly station (such as Balmossie, Finstock or Denton) and goes to a regularly served station. Perhaps Clagmonster can clarify?

I understood that parlys were moves that could only be made on a train kept solely for the purpose of not closing the station, hence why I query where a train leaves a parly station (such as Balmossie, Finstock or Denton) and goes to a regularly served station. Perhaps Clagmonster can clarify?

I always thought that would be a 'Long Wait...' bonus, whereas parlies would only be services running to keep sections of track in use (Stockport-Stalybridge, South Ruislip-Paddington, York-Pontefract-Sheffield, Chester-Runcorn).

I think we should have five bonuses in total along this journey. They're at Golf Street, Barry Links, Monifieth (from Barry Links), Balmossie and Broughty Ferry (from Balmossie).

These all seem to be 'Long Wait...' bonuses if I'm correct, therefore 10 extra points should be given to the winner of this leg.

Why Invergowie? There are at least 6 trains a day that that stop there from Dundee. (05:53, 08:17, 12:13, 15:13, 16:46, 23:49).
