You'll find that 91s do actually work alongside the 67s as Thunderbirds for NXEC, with one often being stabled in a siding at King's Cross, awaiting it's next call of duty, either ECS trips or to rescue a failed 225 or 125 set.

So how exactly does the 91 work? Does it just act as a DVT, or does it use deisel from the HST to run it's own engines?

The 91 is running on electric as usual, it isn't really going to the highlands!
