George Osborne is holding an 'Emergency' Budget on Wednesday. The media are currently suggesting the following will be announced:

- Raising of the threshold for inheritance tax
- Reduction of the benefit cap
- Subsides for free TV licence will no longer be funded by the government but free TV licences will not be axed as the BBC will fund them (paid for by BBC iPlayer no longer being free to use.)
- Changes to housing subsides
- An increase to Capital Gains Tax
- Restrictions on Pension Tax Relief
