The bulk of the new livery is straight forward simply vinyl or paint a blue band with orange stripe over the white but the doors interest me... How are only the doors normally treated? Is this a simple process? Given these trainshave just been repainted from 'one' livery I presume this is a speedy amendment

Does anyone have images of a paint shop or a train being vinyled

Yesterday I saw something that's so far eluded me- a 12 car GN 365 formation consisting entirely of repainted, refurbed units. Though that will of course become increasingly common

On the LOROL Units its simply a case of spraying the doors. The white from the GA livery was "buffed" and the blue band with orange strip is a heat applied vinyl. Internally, the "Barbie pink" door surrounds are also sprayed cream, grabrails orange and seats replaced. Few stickers and line maps. Thats it. But with only one shop open at the moment at Ilford, and them doing GN trains and GA trains, not to mention the shortage of rolling stock, relivery progress is nonexistant at the minute. 801 came out in new livery and was sprayed internally but retained the old blue seats. Since then our 315s have just been getting the logo for the time being.

Are 317/6s receiving full livery upon refurbishment

No, not yet. Only the interiors are being done at Clacton. I'm not sure if the 317/6's will be repainted at Ilford after the 500's are done? I expect that'll be something for the next franchise by the time the 500's are completed.

82207 noted in VTEC livery in specific thread.

Photographs and Abrail confirm 91103 in VTEC livery.

315861 has been out for a few weeks now in its new livery

Thanks so much nxea - had not seen a photo on flickr or similar.

Does this suggest that the remaining 34 [819-859] will cycle through Ilford quickly to get the CrossRail livery?

--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

FGW 166204 has left Wolverton in new Great Western Railway green livery with silver/grey doors.

EC 43251, 82210 & 82231 are in VTEC livery.

43320 now in VTEC livery. Bith 251 and 320 have had minor alterations around the cab windows, which I think look rather smart.

any chance of an updated list for 319s for GTR? Last one I heard of was 445 returning a week or two ago. Is it 003 being done at present

That's correct, 319445 returned on 18/07/2015. 319003 is there currently, arriving 06/07/2015 and due to return this Saturday. Replacement next Monday currently reported to be 319425, but it's probably still subject to change. Otherwise, the first post in this whole thread is accurate on GTR 319s done so far.
