Frieght Companys in essex

Good Morning all.

My name is Gary and I am a train driver for NX (Formally One). I have been thinking for a while about a move into Freight. So could you answer me the following questions?

1. Are there any Freight companies that are still part of the Railway pension scheme and Brass?

2. Are there any companies around the Braintree/Chelmsford area?

Erm well there is allway's frieghtliner in Ipswich only 45 minute's from chelmsford but you would know that.
other than that I suppose there is london.
Btw on a random note if you live In chelmsford good on ya most of my family live there second home to me.

Willesden I believe for DRS in the South East. The only trains they regularly operate are the Dungeness flasks. You would probably be best off asking this question on www.railchat.co.uk where there are more railstaff, or email DRS themselves.

I believe DRS have a small presence at Sizewell on the Suffolk Coast. Otherwise there's Freightliner at Ipswich, EWS at Ripple Lane and GBRf at Whitemoor. There may be others scattered around, but I think these are the main ones in the region.
